Portrait of Ruffian Work in Progress Portrait of Ruffian, my current sculpture is of a racehorse. As I went along shaping each piece to be a most slender and lightfooted streamlined horse I made to date, I learned about this amazing filly by the name of Ruffian. As we always hear about the famous colts, this filly had some amazing powers, and I aim for my model to do her short life justice. The photos were taken as painting is still in progress, with untrimmed hair. Lean more about her here.
